They are the face of service in their faith communities. They give unselfishly of their energy, emotions, material resources and time in helping others. Because a need existed, and they arose to meet it. Because they care. Because it was the right thing to do. They are the keepers of what’s best in their faith community’s traditions and mission, and the time has come again to honor their service.
On February 19, 2017, Interfaith Action of Evanston will be holding its Annual fundraising dinner to honor the Visions Keepers in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Orrington Hotel. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., it promises to be an evening of good food, fellowship, and recognition of those who have made positive contributions to both their faith community and often the larger Evanston community
Tickets for the event are $75 per person, and proceeds support Interfaith Action’s programs, including the Hospitality Center for the Homeless, local soup kitchens, Producemobile, winter overnight shelter and winter warming centers. Seating is limited, so reservations will be accepted on a first come-first served basis. The deadline for receiving reservations from individuals has been extended to Friday, February 10, 2017. All reservations must be accompanied by payment, and checks should be made out to Interfaith Action and mailed to Interfaith Action of Evanston, PO Box 1414, Evanston, IL 60201. Also, please indicate if you require a vegetarian or gluten free meal.
